Mis-hires are expensive. As your partner, we recognize you can’t afford to waste your time or money. When you look at your employees, are you convinced you’ve hired the best? Do you have a team of high-performing and engaged superstars who have helped your company grow and increase revenues and profits?

We bring over 20 years as a Value Added Partner with TTI Success Insights, a leading global talent and organization assessment company. Hiring is more complicated than ever, but TTI SI assessment tools help take the guesswork out of evaluation and selection. You'll get to know your candidates in an effective and objective way to determine how exactly they will fit the position and culture of your organization. This streamlines your decision making process and enhances the new hire’s on-boarding experience.

We know how important it is to hire the best employee the first time, so we partner with you step-by-step through the process. From initial screening to final interviews, we continually assess whether a candidate will be the best fit for your position. The Nielson Group also offers optional new leader assimilation and executive coaching to ensure for any managerial level hire is successful right out of the gate. Our method has brought success to companies nationwide, and we’ll strive to bring that same success to your company.
TNG Retained Search is unique from other search firms.

Position Benchmarking
While other search firms skip this crucial step, we break from the traditional recruiting process, utilizing a patented “Job Benchmarking” process to fully understand why the position exists and define the job’s key accountabilities. Then, we create a benchmark for the job based on behaviors, motivators (also called attitudes or values), acumen and skills. Candidates are compared to the benchmark during the assessment phase of our search process.

Advanced Candidate Screening and Assessment (all inclusive)We started as an organization development and assessment consulting practice. We quickly realized our clients were paying some pretty hefty search fees and then paying us to do the assessment and evaluation of the candidates. That's just wrong! We provide an all-inclusive candidate sourcing and vetting solution. We do the assessments as part of the retained search! Once we’ve identified, engaged and assessed a candidate, we perform an in-depth interview to determine if they meet all client requirements. We also strive to uncover any issues that would restrict the candidate’s ability to join your company. We use a proven, recruiting and hiring process to:
• Match the candidate’s skills to your specific job requirements and needs.
• Confirm that the candidate’s experience will help you achieve your current and future goals.
• Verify that a candidate’s talents will complement your corporate culture and support success in the role.
• Evaluate the candidate’s long-term potential to take on additional responsibilities beyond the current needs.

Candidate Presentation
At this point, candidates have been thoroughly vetted and presented so that you make decisions and begin interviews of top candidates. We provide you with a comprehensive candidate profile that includes a summary of the candidate’s work history, assessment results and evaluation. We will support you in preparing for interviewing, stay with you through the interview loop and facilitate hiring team insights and comparative analysis.

Time-to-Fill is Important
The average hiring process is over 42 days long according to the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). And top talent can be on and off the market in as little as 10 days. We work to shorten the time-to-fill but we do it while ensuring quality at every step. Assessments play a big role in our ability to beat the average as well as ensure quality candidates.

New Hire Onboarding and Coaching
We provide each hire with pre- and post-hire coaching to support their early success. We help them during their transition to accelerate the new hire onboarding period so they become contributing team members or leaders as quickly as possible.

Optionally, for leaders/managers, we offer a comprehensive new leader/new team assimilation program to quickly integrate the executive into the organization. On-boarding a new executive or manager poses specific organizational challenges. A particularly useful technique to help leaders settle into a new role is New Leader Assimilation, a program customized to your culture and organizational needs. Appropriate timing for this is normally 1-3 weeks after the manager has joined the organization. You can learn more by going here: http://www.nielsongroup.com/3206/13001.html.
